The doors were rusty after just 2 months. The ice dispenser usually spits out another cube once I'm 12 feet away. It's very noisy. Drinks were freezing when placed on medium setting. I tried "Buy American Made" what a disappointment!

We bought this quickly and I liked my old GE better. Stainless steel is anything but stainless and very difficult to keep clean and stain free. Steel has a horizontal "grain" unlike most other appliances, so you should clean and polish it side by side rather than up and down. Also, it appears to be missing a deli drawer. Now we are empty nests so it's not a big deal but it could be for a bigger family. It has 2 crisper type drawers at the bottom.

This refrigerator was installed in our house when we bought it. It's a fridge! It keeps things cold. We are using! I put the things I want just a little bit cold on the fridge side and the things I want really cold on the freezer side. Do not mix them or there may be problems. I wish it was twice the size on both sides so I could keep more things cold and frozen, but I'd have to get rid of the kitchen sink if it was twice the size.

Knowing now what I didn't when I bought the product, the water and ice dispensing area doesn't accommodate most of my cups. When tilting the glass to get ice, I tend to hit the ice and water at the same time, leaving a mess to clean up. I don't care about the arrangement of the shelves. My old refrigerator had adjustable brackets on the back so I could adjust the shelves wherever I wanted. The perfect fridge would have adjustable supports, taller ice, and the water dispenser area and dispenser wouldn't be in front of each other.

I bought this a few months ago. The ice container holds a lot! The fridge only has two drawers that I use for vegetables. I miss a snack/meat drawer. The ice/water panel does not accommodate large glasses very well, we accidentally pressed the water button when getting ice. Other than that, I'm very happy with the fridge.

I've had this Amana SS side by side for a few months now. I like the filtered water lasting 6 months. It's not as roomy on the side of the fridge as it was on the previous fridge; the door is not that deep and neither are the shelves. We probably shouldn't keep as much in there as we do anyway as there's only 2 of us.

the ice/water dispenser area is a little too small for our liking, very large glasses don't fit in there... also the ice maker doesn't meet our ice needs, and it would be nice if the shelves could be adjusted to move them, also the ice maker part in the freezer takes up a lot of space in the freezer. also this fridge is kind of noisy with the humming and loud ice maker noises it makes. and stainless steel gets dirty more easily than our last refrigerator.

This fridge was in the new house we bought. It looks good, but it's too small for us anyway. The side of the refrigerator is very narrow and does not hold much. The freezer side is also very narrow and dominated by the ice maker and ice storage compartment. There is little storage space in the overhead door as the water/ice dispenser also takes up most of the space. The water filter is easy to find and replace, but replacements are VERY EXPENSIVE. The temperature control only offers 3 settings: off, medium and very cold, so that stinks too.

I bought my fridge in May, but due to various issues, it wasn't delivered and assembled until July. Let me tell you, it was worth the wait. My cold gets cold and the freezer does what it says it will. The ice maker made my partner smile so we're good there too. What I don't like is the fingerprints all over the fridge. I have to find a good stainless steel cleaner so I don't damage the doors. For those of you wondering who the hell is Amana, they fall under Whirlpool ha!!

I bought this fridge about a month ago and I've been impressed with it so far. My only gripe with this purchase is that it didn't come with an installation manual. The accompanying pamphlet directs you to the website to download a PDF version, which is great and easy. However, the link is broken and takes you to an error page. I emailed Customer Support 8 days ago and still haven't received a response. When I did manage to call, it was outside of business hours. Luckily I was able to find a tutorial on YouTube instructing how to level and set up the fridge. Because of this annoyance, I would hesitate to recommend Amana in the future.

I bought from big box stores but got the best deal and service from local dealer Daniel Appliance. Delivered and installed the next day.
